Victory Pier
Gillingham, Kent

PCKO has been responsible for the masterplan and several phases of construction in the regeneration of this waterfront brownfield site on a broad bend in the Thames on behalf of Berkeley First. When the final phase completes, Victory Pier will provide 487 homes and 18,200 sq ft of commercial space including a hotel, shops, bars and restaurants. The site also contains 607 units of student accommodation for the University of Kent.

PCKO’s intelligent phasing of the masterplan enabled development to progress continuously, despite adverse market conditions, providing a valuable boost for the local economy.  The landscaping landscaping of the site is enriched by a large park and the whole development is carefully configured to maximise river views.
